M365 Changelog: Dynamics 365 and Power Platform 2022 release wave 1 early access

MC318182 – Microsoft is excited to announce that early access updates for the 2022 release wave 1 for Dynamics 365 and Industry Solutions and Microsoft Power Platform will be available starting on January 31, 2022.

How does this affect me?
This release wave is a compilation of new features that will be released between April 1, 2022, and September 30, 2022. Customers and partners can opt-in to receive early access updates to validate the latest features in a non-production environment starting on January 31, 2022. For customers that are a part of the Microsoft Government Cloud, the option will be available in their administrative portal starting on February 7, 2022.

There are many features available for early access across Dynamics 365 Applications and Power Platform. These features include user experience enhancements that will be automatically enabled for users in production environments beginning on April 1, 2022, per the schedule. Because the release includes features that affect the current user experience, Microsoft encourages application administrators to review these changes to understand the potential impact and determine if change management for new features is required.

What actions do I need to take?
