Outlook on the web – Project Moca migrating to Outlook board view

Reference ID: MC271629 | Effective: July 26, 2021

MC271629 – Thank you for using the public preview (MC224257) of Project Moca! It was a success, and Microsoft will begin migrating content from Project Moca to the new Outlook Calendar board view in July. All boards and content will be migrated and users will not lose any data.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 82013.

When this will happen:

This will roll out in late July.

How this will affect your organization:

You can now access your boards that you created in Moca as a calendar board view on Outlook on the web. Just open the model switcher dropdown to view all your existing boards.

You’ll now see some new features and improvements in the look and feel of your boards to help you stay organized.

New items include:

  • Your calendars and your existing To Do task lists.
  • You’ll now be able to lock your view so you can keep it just the way you like.
  • All links to your existing Project Moca spaces will be redirected to their new Calendar board view in Outlook on the web.

What you need to do to prepare:

You might want to notify your users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as appropriate.

Note:Users will receive in-product notifications of the change.
