Markup Ink for Edit HVC (high-value Controls)

Reference ID: MC301676 | Effective: January 10, 2022

MC301676 – Updated January 04, 2022: Microsoft has updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.

With markup (ink), users can draw on their photos to convey their messages and reveal the pattern and information perhaps unclear in an initial, surface look when self-teaching and even more important when sharing photos.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 88481.

When this will happen:

Microsoft expects to roll this update out to Targeted Release customers in early December and expect the rollout to all customers to be completed in early January (previously late December).

How this will affect your organization:

Users will soon be able to draw on their photo or highlight a desired section of an image to convey their message. The color and thickness of the ink and highlighter pens can be changed. Also applied inks can erased individually or all the once.
