Microsoft is making updates available for the OneDrive sync app on Mac.

When this will happen

Insiders: rollout begins late June(previously late May)
General availability: rollout should be mid-July (previously mid-June) through the end of July(previously end of May)

How this will affect your organization

Updates to OneDrive on Mac will be delivered in the .pkg format which allows for faster updates and better security. There is no change to the end-user experience.

What you need to do to prepare

You might want to notify your users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as appropriate.
