M365 Changelog: Live Captions and Live Transcript in Additional Spoken Language in Microsoft Teams Meetings

MC280258 – With this feature release, Microsoft Teams meetings held in GCC will now have a real-time transcript during your meetings as well as a post-meeting transcript. This will help users in real-time recall what has been said during the meeting as well as review the meeting after the fact.

  • For Microsoft Teams meetings, if both recording and transcript policy settings are enabled, turning on recording will also start live transcription in a meeting.
  • Users on mobile will be able to view captions in the supported languages, but only desktop users will be able to switch the spoken language.
