With this update, you can create policies to manage templates that your end users can access when they create a new team while they are using either Teams desktop (Windows/Mac) or Teams on the web.

When this will happen
The templates policies are now available in Teams admin center.
How this will affect your organization
You can create policies in the Teams admin center to manage which templates end users can access when they create a new team.
What you need to do to prepare
Within each template policy, designate which templates to show or hide.
- New templates are visible by default.
- Change the default to hide new templates in the Teams admin center > Teams > Templates policies.
Use PowerShell to make batch user assignments to an existing template policy.
