M365 Changelog: Yammer and SharePoint for Business: Yammer Conversations Web Part V3

MC259501 – Microsoft has updated the Yammer Conversations web part for SharePoint to add new configuration options including:

  • New horizontal layout – showcase Yammer conversations from your community, topic or user horizontally, making it easier to see many conversations at once
  • New filter option to show only Questions or All Conversations – showcase recent questions from a community or topic​
  • New configuration option to show or hide the Yammer publisher– curate the content displayed

When this will happen:

Microsoft expects this rollout to begin in mid-June and for the rollout to be fully completed by late June.

How this will affect your organization:

Existing Yammer Conversations web parts will remain unchanged, new configuration options can be found and adjusted in the configuration panel.
